Cat's Cradle is our Spring production for 2024. It will be performed on 29th & 31st May plus 1st June. Det. Inspector Jack Frost is touted as the character that spawned the long running Touch of Frost T.V. series starring David Jason.
In a last, desperate attempt to resurrect his career in the CID, Inspector Frost re-opens the case that ruined him - a kidnap and possible murder he failed to solve some years before. With a new piece of evidence he returns to the village in which the disappearance occurred. Where he was once a welcome guest, he now finds that the villagers are no longer interested in re-living the past and seeing old faces - particularly his!
As it becomes increasingly apparent that he is facing a conspiracy of silence and hostility, he enlists the assistance of a local, ambitious journalist to help with his investigations. The guilty and terrible secret of those who have spent years shouldering the burden of the truth finally comes to light in a series of startling revelations.
A real Whodunnit! Was it kidnap, murder or accident? Come along and find out!
